Job Description
A & Associates is seeking a highly organized and driven Compliance & Workforce Operations Manager to support our high volume staffing operations. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and is comfortable managing large scale onboarding, compliance, and workforce tracking.
With thousands of active employees and frequent last minute staffing requests ranging from entry level roles to executive placements, this position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency across all levels of staffing.
This role serves as a key partner between operations, payroll, and leadership, ensuring all employees are properly onboarded, trained, compliant, and tracked throughout their assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high volume onboarding processes, ensuring all new hires are properly documented and compliant before deployment
- Manage compliance tracking for a large and diverse workforce across multiple job types and locations
- Coordinate and oversee employee training, , and documentation requirements
- Maintain accurate records and tracking systems for employee status, certifications, and assignments
- Follow up consistently with staff and internal teams to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Support workers compensation processes, including documentation and follow up
- Assist with payroll review, auditing, and resolving payroll related issues
- Partner closely with operations and leadership to respond to urgent and last minute staffing needs
- Ensure adherence to company policies as well as local, state, and federal employment regulations
- Identify gaps in compliance or onboarding processes and implement improvements
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels, from entry level workers to executive placements
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Compliance, or Workforce Operations
- Strong background in high volume staffing or staffing agency environment
- Experience with onboarding, compliance tracking, and employee lifecycle management
- Working knowledge of workers compensation and payroll processes
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
