The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence across the hotel. You will support and lead department heads to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while consistently delivering brand standards and memorable guest experiences.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being visible on the floor, coaching teams, and continuously improving standards.

Responsibilities

- \nOperational Leadership: Oversee daily hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality.
- \nPeople Management: Lead, motivate, and develop departmental managers and their teams to achieve service and performance goals.
- \nGuest Experience: Champion guest satisfaction, manage feedback proactively, and implement service improvements.
- \nFinancial Performance: Support budgeting, cost control, and revenue opportunities while maintaining service excellence.
- \nHealth & Safety: Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and legal standards, creating a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
- \nProblem Solving: Act swiftly on operational challenges, using a calm, solutions-focused approach.
- \nContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, quality, and team engagement.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or senior hotel manager within a branded or quality-led hotel
- A confident, visible leader with a passion for developing people
- Strong understanding of guest service excellence and brand standards
- Commercially aware with experience managing costs and supporting budgets
- Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-driven
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative leadership style
