Hotel Maintenance Technician

Location: Pompano Beach, FL
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Permanent

Overview

CD Staffing is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join a well-known hotel in Pompano Beach. This role ensures the hotel remains safe, functional, and welcoming for all guests. Multiple positions are available:

• Full-Time 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Part-Time Day Shift
• Part-Time 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property, including guest rooms, common areas, and exterior spaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Complete basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and general repair tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel management and staff.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and prevent potential issues.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours situations as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and local code requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in facility or building maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of at least one trade: electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Flexible availability, especially for Maintenance Tech II roles.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely.

• Part-Time Day Shift
• Part-Time 2nd Shift
