Hospital Engineer (Maintenance)

Engineer | Private Hospital | Warrington | Full Time | Permanent | 37.5 hours | £30,900 per annum + excellent benefits



Spire Cheshire Hospital, Warrington are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Engineer to join our established maintenance team.

Working Hours: Combination of shifts between 7 am and 5 pm Monday-Friday, Weekend working may be required



Contract Type: Full time - Permanent



Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work as part of the engineering team providing a comprehensive and cost-effective engineering service within the hospital.



Duties and responsibilities



To provide in-house day to day maintenance service across the hospital

Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital

To receive review, prioritise and act on all maintenance requests from departments and maintain records of work undertaken on CMMS

Work from fault logs and allocate tasks within area of responsibility

To provide out of hours emergency on-call serviceWhat you need to have



Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle is essential

Recognized apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with City & Guilds Qualification

Significant post qualification experience

Knowledge of electrical safety, decontamination, medical gas pipeline systems, legionella and HVAC

Significant Hospital or Healthcare experience is desirable but not essentialWho we're looking for
