Job Description
About the Role:
We are partnering with Novartis to recruit a Hospital Commercial Manager for one of their priority brands in the immunology portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work on a therapy central to the company’s growth strategy and has already transformed patient outcomes worldwide.
As Hospital Commercial Manager, you will map key stakeholders and decision-makers within the local and regional health economy driving market access for the product, secure commercial agreements, and work closely with Payors and Hospital Pharmacists. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Key Account Managers to deliver a joined-up, customer-centric approach that supports therapy adoption, access, and differentiation through value-added services such as patient support programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map key stakeholders and decision-makers within the local and regional health economy to drive market access.
- Secure commercial agreements to support therapy adoption and access.
- Work collaboratively with Key Account Managers to ensure a joined-up, customer-focused approach across accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Payors, Hospital Pharmacists, and other key stakeholders.
- Implement hospital-focused commercial strategies for immunology therapies.
- Differentiate the therapy through value-added services such as patient support programs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Support brand initiatives, promotional campaigns, and educational activities within hospitals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in market access or commercial management, preferably in immunology or a related pharmaceutical area.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience working closely with Payors and Hospital Pharmacists.
- The ability to work effectively with cross-functional colleagues.
- Knowledge or experience in implementing patient support or other value-added programs.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data, identify opportunities, and implement effective commercial strategies.
- Passion for delivering value to healthcare professionals and patients.
