HMI Controls Systems Engineer – Advanced Automation

Location: Warwick Hybrid (1 day WFH) Up to £45k Bonus Dividend

Most HMI jobs stop at button layouts. This one doesn’t. Here, you’ll own usability, compliance, and standardisation across next-gen automation projects — setting best practices and building scalable solutions that others will follow.

Your impact:

\n

• Design and develop HMI software for bespoke automation systems

\n

• Integrate HMIs with PLCs, SCADA, MES using OPC UA, Profinet, EtherCAT

\n

• Ensure compliance with GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11

\n

• Drive standardisation across libraries, templates, and processes

\n

What you’ll bring:

• 3 years in HMI/SCADA development

\n

• Strong protocol knowledge (OPC UA, EtherCAT, Profinet)

\n

• A mindset for quality, compliance, and user experience

\n

The package includes up to £50K Overtime (1.5x) Bonus Dividend Hybrid working 36 days holiday package.
