Highways Quantity Surveyor
Daily rate: £20.29 per hour PAYE outside IR35
Location: Coventry
Contract: 3 months
Working hours: 40 per week, office based As a Highways Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of highways projects from inception through to final account. You will be doing the following:

• Managing project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.

\n

• Administering and managing NEC contracts.

\n

• Preparing, reviewing and negotiating subcontractor packages.

\n

• Producing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.

\n

• Identifying, pricing and managing compensation events and variations.

\n

• Monitoring project performance and reporting on commercial progress.

\n

• Working closely with project managers, engineers and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

\n

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

\n

What You'll Need

• To be considered for this Highways Quantity Surveyor position, you will have:

\n

• Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the highways sector.

\n

• Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts (essential).

\n

• Experience managing commercial aspects of civil engineering or highways projects.

\n

• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

\n

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

\n

• A full UK driving licence.

\n
