Heavy Equipment Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMasterTech is on the search for Heavy Equipment Technicians in the Fort Wayne, IN area.

The successful Diesel Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment (construction, forestry, agricultural, aerial, mining, etc.) in a shop setting.

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $35.00/hour or more based on experience.

Schedule:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday. 7AM start time.
  

Key Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  
• Completion of a Diesel Technology program , not required.
  
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  
• Experience using diagnostic software (Cummins InSite, DDDL, JPro, CAT ET, Service Advisor, etc.)
  
• Welding and fabrication experience .
  
• valid driver's license, CDL , not required.
