Pay: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and certifications

Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator III for a full-time role supporting an environmental remediation and construction project near the Texas-Louisiana border. This is a senior-level role for candidates experienced in operating a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, and motor graders. Work will be performed outdoors in a dynamic field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, mix, and grade various materials.

• Maintain daily safety checks, report maintenance issues, and complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

• Accurately perform finish-grade work in various soil conditions.

• Follow instructions from superintendents and collaborate with team members.

• Maintain clear communication, situational awareness, and job site safety.

• Assist in lifting and securing materials during installation as needed.

• Clean and maintain assigned equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience required.

• Familiarity with OSHA excavation safety regulations.

• Experience in general construction and site grading .

• Ability to read site plans, charts, and load specifications.

• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (with 8-hour refresher) .

• TWIC card .

• Must pass a skills test before operating machinery.

• Must be dependable and able to work 5–7 days a week.

• Must have reliable transportation to commute to the job site.

Working Conditions:

• Physically demanding outdoor work, exposed to weather.

• May include overtime and short-notice travel as required by the project.
