Job Title: Skid Steer & All-Terrain Equipment Operator
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $25.00 – $32.00/hr (DOE) + Overtime Opportunities

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Skid Steer & All-Terrain Equipment Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support construction, grading, excavation, and site development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate skid steers, all-terrain forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively
  • Perform grading, trenching, loading/unloading, and material handling tasks
  • Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
  • Work closely with foremen and crew members to complete projects on schedule
  • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience operating skid steer and all-terrain equipment
  • Experience in construction, underground utilities, grading, or similar field
  • Ability to operate equipment in tight or uneven terrain
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to read blueprints and grade stakes is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to climb in and out of equipment frequently
