Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and machinery.

Duties
- Ensure that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
- Diagnose and perform equipment repairs in response to maintenance requests, in shop or in field locations.
- Perform service, maintenance , repair, and overhaul in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.-Ability to analysis and diagnose issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems and electronic systems.-Perform welding and brazing, fabricate, and modify parts, equipment, and , miscellaneous structures and attachments.
- Conduct and record keep inspections to ensure vehicles meet Department of Transportation safety standards.

Requirements
- Experience with diesel engine repair, brake repair, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of air brake systems and suspension components
- Ability to work on industrial equipment, tractor-trailers, farm machinery, and dealership vehicles
- Proficiency in assembling and disassembling mechanical components- Clean MVR
- 5+years experience
