We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy construction equipment and diesel engines in the Capital Region. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment and diesel engines.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive servicing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on machinery.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on equipment condition.
• Work safely and follow all company and OSHA safety procedures.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on heavy construction equipment and diesel engines.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation

• Competitive pay up to $50/hour based on experience and qualifications.
