Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and systems to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.

* Heavy equipment, forklift, diesel maintenance experience

· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.

· Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

· Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient operations.

· Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.

· Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.

· Maintain an organized and clean work area.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification .

· 5 Years proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
