We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our mine site in Dubois, ID. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy equipment used in mining operations, ensuring that all machinery is operating efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and a commitment to upholding high standards of safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment
- Repair and replace parts as needed
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Assist with equipment upgrades and modifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and hydraulic systems
- Kamatsu certification and training a must
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Valid driver's license
