We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Equipment Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our fleet, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of vehicle maintenance, and the ability to implement efficient processes to enhance fleet productivity.

Duties

• Manage the maintenance and repair schedules for all fleet vehicles to ensure reliability and safety.
• Invoicing
• Monitor vehicle performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to routes.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and service history.
• Develop and enforce policies regarding vehicle usage, safety standards, and compliance with local regulations.
• Oversee fuel management systems and monitor fuel consumption for cost efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits of fleet operations to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to align fleet operations with overall company goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role within logistics or transportation.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in using fleet management software and tools.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in fleet management are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field is .
