We are looking for a mechanic to join our team in Germantown. This individual will work independently and be responsible for maintaining a small fleet of tractors and trailers. Experience with CAT diesel engines is required.


As our CAT Diesel Engine Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on our CAT-powered trucks. You’ll play a key role in keeping our operations moving safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and has hands-on experience with Caterpillar diesel engines.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair CAT diesel engines and related systems (fuel, cooling, turbo, exhaust, etc.)
• Perform full engine overhauls (in-frame and out-of-frame), ensuring all work meets CAT specifications
• Conduct routine maintenance: oil changes, inspections, filter replacements, valve adjustments
• Use CAT diagnostic tools such as CAT ET to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues
• Identify and replace faulty parts, using OEM components
• Maintain accurate service records, including all parts and labor used
• Occasionally perform roadside or on-site emergency repairs
• Adhere to safety procedures and environmental standards at all times

Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficiency with diesel engine systems and components.
• Experience using CAT ET software.
• Knowledge of electronic engine control systems and emissions technology (Tier 4, etc.).
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.

• CDL license
• Pre-employment drug test
