A leading civil contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee large-scale infrastructure projects. About the Role

This role involves overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects and ensuring their successful execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day field operations and ensure projects are built safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and craft labor to ensure workflow and productivity are maintained.
• Interpret plans, specifications, and construction methods to ensure high standards of quality and compliance.
• Work closely with project management to support scheduling, logistics planning, and implementation of project procedures.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a proactive safety culture aligned with site-specific safety plans.
• Ensure the efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment throughout project execution.
• Communicate with owner representatives and provide updates as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field .
• Minimum of 20 years’ field supervisory experience, including at least 10 years as a Superintendent on projects valued at $200M+.
• Proven experience in the construction of new civil infrastructure structures, including deep foundations, concrete, and structural steel.
• In-depth understanding of U.S. construction standards, methods, and union trade practices.
• Prior experience working with City, State, or Federal clients is .
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, and Procore (or similar platforms).
• OSHA certification and current First Aid credentials.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
