We are looking for an experienced Environment Health and Safety Manager (m/f/x) Located in Unterschleißheim near Munich, Bavaria As the Environment Health and Safety Manager, you will lead our EHS initiatives and ensure compliance with legal and internal standards. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Environment, Health and Safety Management Systems in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, while fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.Championing health and safety across the company, from risk assessments to training Ensuring legal and internal compliance in all EHS matters Investigating incidents and implementing preventive measures Collaborating with internal teams and external partners (e.g., safety specialists, company doctors) Supporting audits and process safety in close cooperation with Quality Management Managing environmental permitting and EMS documentation Promoting a safety-first mindset through active communication and on-site presence Occasional travel (e.g., Technical training or a degree in safety / environmental / health management Three to five years of EHS experience, ideally in manufacturing or metalworking Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 45001 as well as experience in audits Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations and environmental law Confident with MS Office, HSE tools, and ideally ERP systems (e.g., Navision) Fluent in German, with good English skillsWho you are: Analytical, structured, and self-driven A strong communicator who can influence across all levels Reliable, quality-focused, and passionate about safety and sustainability Skilled in training and moderationWhat we offer: A modern corporate culture Self-determined work, an appreciative working atmosphere, and collaboration in a global environment Flexible working hours and home office Workplaces with modern equipment Training and development opportunities Intensive induction and onboardingIs this the right challenge for you?
