Health, Safety & Environmental Executive (Power & Control Systems)
£42,000 - £45,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Private Healthcare + Training + Progression + Electric Car Scheme

Are you a Health & Safety professional from a manufacturing background seeking a key role in a high-growth SME that has doubled in size in the last 18 months?
On offer is an opportunity to play a crucial role in the business's ongoing success and growth, where they are seeking a Health & Safety professional to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and to drive continuous improvement across the business.
The company is a leading provider of fully integrated power, monitoring, and control systems in the marine, vehicle, and off-grid markets, which combine renewable energy sources with traditional power sources, enabling reduced emissions and improved energy efficiency.
As an experienced HSE professional, you will be NEBOSH qualified and a member of IOSH, and develop, implement, and oversee the company's health, safety, and environmental management system.
The role:

- Managing and monitoring the health and safety management system and the continual improvement of health and safety across the company
- Developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's environmental management system, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards
- Providing day-to-day support for managers and colleagues, ensuring policies and procedures are consistently applied in line with the principles of sensible risk management
- Promoting a culture of managing and being accountable for risk

The person:

- NEBOSH Diploma or NEBOSH Certificate
- Proven experience working in Health and Safety in a lead role, and experience in environmental management
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
