Role: Health & Safety/ CDM Consultant  \n\nLocation: Leeds office (projects across Yorkshire) \n\nSector: Property & Construction\n\nSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 + car allowance (circa £4,000) + industry leading benefits package\n\nCarriera is excited to partner with one of the UK's leading property & construction consultancies who operate across the UK, our client is involved in a multitude of projects within the built environment across their 12 offices, typical sectors that they client work within include; residential, commercial, defence, education, healthcare/ pharma, sport, hotel, leisure, transport, retail, manufacturing.  \n\nThe business is recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join the team, and act as a H&S/ CDM Consultant on a diverse portfolio of schemes across Yorkshire based from their Leeds office. Our client would be interested in speaking with H&S professionals who have an excellent understanding of CDM regulations and the design/ pre-construction phase of projects. \n\nOur client is happy to consider people from a Principal Contractor background who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a consultancy setting. \n\nResponsibilities:\n\nOffer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base. \n\nCarryout risk assessments, site inspections and site audits.? \n\nManage the H&S file from project beginning through to completion. \n\nReview construction phase plans. \n\nMaintain pre-construction information.\n\nAttend design team and client meetings and offer safety advice on designs. \n\nProvide a CDM Advisor service to clients and advise on 2015 CDM Regulations. \n\nDevelop new and existing client relationships. \nRequirements: \n\nNEBOSH Construction or equivalent. \n\nProfessional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable). \n\nHave worked in the property & construction sector for the last 2 years in a H&S capacity. \n\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written. \nApply: \n\nCompetitive salary in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 \n\nCar or travel allowance?(circa £4,000) \n\n25 days of paid annual leave + 8 days bank holiday \n\n4 x salary life assurance cover \n\nIncome Protection Insurance \n\nPrivate healthcare \n\nContributory pension scheme \n\nProfessional membership fees covered\nIf you are interested in this role please apply, contact Alex Harcombe on (phone number removed) for further information.\n\nCarriera Limited values and promotes equality and no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate against any protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010.
