Description & Expectations

We’re looking for a client-focused, detail-oriented professional to join our team in a hybrid role supporting both Individual/Family clients and our Group Account Executive. This position will be the first point of contact for incoming calls and will manage new and renewal business for Individual and Family plans, including quoting and enrollment support. The role also includes administrative support for group accounts, such as preparing proposals, tracking renewals, and coordinating client communications.

Licensing Requirements: Candidtate muse either currently hold or be able to obtain each of the following within 30 days of employment

  • Minnesota Health Insurance License

  • MNsure Certification

Core Responsibilities

Client Interaction & Intake

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls, directing inquiries appropriately and providing a welcoming first impression

  • Manage all aspects of new and renewal business for Individual and Family plans, including:

  • Gathering necessary client information

  • Running and presenting plan quotes

  • Assisting clients through the enrollment process

Team & Office Presence

  • Maintain an in-office presence at least three days per week to ensure team support and client accessibility. (Open enrollment will require 5 days a week in office. This runs Oct 1st- December 15th)

Administrative & Team Support

  • Act as a key administrative assistant to the Group Account Executive, with responsibilities including:

  • Preparing and organizing client materials and proposals

  • Tracking renewal and onboarding timelines

  • Coordinating appointments and maintaining internal records

  • Assisting with data entry, follow-up communications, and general client correspondence

  • Support the Group team in maintaining a high level of client service and efficient workflow

Event Participation & Outreach

  • Represent SBG at When Can I Afford to Retire?" seminars throughout the year

  • Attend exhibition events thought out calendar year
