Job Description

Health & Safety Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Central Wisconsin (relocation expenses included)

Reports to: Plant Manager

Come join a company where safety is more than a policy — it’s how they build quality, together. Seeking a hands-on Safety Manager to lead the safety culture across their home improvement manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Do

• Champion their safety programs to protect their people and ensure OSHA and corporate compliance.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify risks, drive improvements, and embed safety into daily operations.
• Lead investigations, audits, and safety training; develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze safety data and metrics to uncover trends and present actionable insights.
• Engage teams through proactive safety initiatives, near-miss reporting, and continuous improvement projects.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of safety management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in union environments and strong leadership across all organizational levels is ideal but not required.
• Proven success improving safety culture, reducing incidents, and using KPIs to drive results.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NEC, ACGIH, and workers’ compensation programs.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
