Health & Safety Manager – Construction\nLocation: South Birmingham\nSalary: £45,000 + car allowance + private medical\nJob type: Permanent, full-time\nA well-established construction and building maintenance company is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their team. The business delivers a wide range of projects across commercial, education, NHS, and local authority sectors and has a directly employed workforce of around 50 people. This role is office and site based with no hybrid/home working.\nKey Responsibilities\n• Prepare and update Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Construction Phase Plans\n• Compile and manage project Health & Safety completion files\n• Manage and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications\n• Oversee all Health & Safety and environmental accreditations and compliance\n• Carry out regular site inspections and audits, reporting on findings and improvements\n• Manage PPE supplies and ensure correct usage across the workforce\n• Lead on the Health & Safety training regime for employees\nRequirements\n• Minimum 5 years’ Health & Safety experience\n• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualifications\n• Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and audit requirements\n• Confident carrying out inspections, audits, and compliance checks\n• Full UK driving licence\nBenefits\n• Salary £45,000 - £50,000 per year\n• Car allowance\n• Private medical cover\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety professional to join a respected construction company with a stable workload and strong reputation in hte West Midlands\nTo apply, please submit your CV or get in touch for a confidential discussion
