Job Description
Our client is a well-established refurbishment contractor delivering high-end residential and commercial projects across Central London. With a strong project pipeline and a commitment to excellence, they are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor/Manager to oversee and implement best-in-class safety practices on sites in central London.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Carry out regular site inspections and internal audits\n\n * \n\n Prepare and review site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation\n\n * \n\n Lead on-site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings for staff and subcontractors\n\n * \n\n Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions\n\n * \n\n Work closely with project and site managers to ensure safety is integrated into all planning and execution\n\n * \n\n Support continuous improvement of the company’s Health & Safety Management Systems\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\n * \n\n NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification)\n\n * \n\n Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role within the construction or refurbishment sector\n\n * \n\n In-depth knowledge of CDM Regulations and relevant HSE legislation\n\n * \n\n Confident communicator with strong organisational and reporting skills\n\n * \n\n Proactive, with a practical approach to risk management on busy, live sites\n\n * \n\n Valid CSCS card and UK driving licence
