They are looking to welcome a HSE Manager to the team! Who this job would suit: This role is ideal for a NEBOSH or IOSH qualified HSE professional with experience in large scale manufacturing/engineering. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental management, working to ISO 14001 & 45001. Key Responsibilities: Coordination of health, safety, welfare, and environmental activities across departments Development, maintenance, and improvements of the IMS/QMS, in adherence to ISO standards. Engagement in internal, external, and Third-Party audits, followed by corrective actions. Direction and assistance in implementing and maintaining HSE management systems. Immediate notification of situations compromising IMS effectiveness to Senior Management Adherence to and promotion of HSE policies, procedures, and practices on-site Requirements: HSE experience within Manufacturing (large scale machinery or heavy manufacturing preferred). NEBOSH or IOSH qualified. Confident & Assertive approach to promoting HSE. Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001. Location - Rochdale Salary – Competitive (dependent on experience) + Bonus.
