Health and Safety Advisor\n\nPeterborough | Circa £55,000 + Car/Allowance\n\nIrwin and Colton have been engaged by a leading Civil Engineering and Construction company to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor. This role will oversee high-profile civils and construction projects primarily across the Peterborough area. It presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious health and safety professional seeking to further develop their career with a respected industry leader.\n\nResponsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include:\n\nImplementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures across project sites\nCollaborating with project teams during planning phases to ensure HSE considerations are fully embedded throughout all stages\nReviewing and supporting the production of risk assessments and method statements, and providing guidance on health and safety-related queries\nCarrying out site audits and inspections, and leading or supporting incident investigations where requiredThe successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:\n\nExperience in a similar role, ideally within civil engineering, construction, or a related sector\nNEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification)\nA proactive approach, with strong drive, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continual learning and professional growthContact James Howard on or (phone number removed).\n\nIrwin & Colton are a specialist Health and Safety recruitment company, based in the South East of England we recruit across the UK.
