O'Neill & Brennan are currently working with a tier 1 Main Contractor who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support the delivery of construction projects across London. This role is key to ensuring that Health & Safety standards are consistently maintained and improved across all site operations. You may be working independently on a single project, as part of a larger site-based H&S team, or supporting multiple smaller projects simultaneously.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide on-site Health & Safety support and guidance, ensuring project teams understand their responsibilities.\n\nEnsure compliance with relevant UK Health & Safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, CDM Regulations 2015, and RIDDOR 2013.\n\nCarry out regular inspections and audits to monitor adherence to safety protocols and drive continuous improvement.\n\nAssist with the preparation, review, and implementation of H&S documentation such as RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, and Lift Plans.\n\nMaintain accurate H&S records using management system software, in line with legal and company requirements.\n\nDeliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and coordinate any required external training.\n\nParticipate in investigations of incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and supporting preventive actions.\n\nContribute to the performance evaluation of subcontractors and supply chain partners with regard to Health & Safety.\n\nProvide regular updates and reports to senior H&S personnel, escalating issues when necessary.\n\nCompile and submit relevant data, statistics, and reports to support internal and external reporting requirements.\n\nAbout You:\n\nPrevious experience in a Health & Safety role within the UK construction industry.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and practical experience applying it in a site environment.\n\nSkilled in site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.\n\nComfortable delivering H&S briefings and communicating with a range of site-based teams.\n\nFamiliar with H&S management software and reporting systems.\n\nHolds a NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification).\n\nWhat's on Offer?\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\n\nOpportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression.\n\nThe chance to work on impactful projects that contribute to communities.\n\nA collaborative working environment that values safety, quality, and innovation.\n\nO’Neill and Brennan values and promotes equality, All individuals will be treated in a fair and equal manner and in accordance with the law regardless of , marital status, , , , , or
