Job Description
Location: Leeds (Hybrid)\n\n Salary: £57,515 - A Civil Service Pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%\n\n Contract Type: Permanent – Flexible working, Full-time, Job share, Part-time\n\nThe Head of Road Infrastructure Technology is responsible for shaping and driving government activity around the technologies used in today’s road networks, as well as preparing for future needs, for example connected and autonomous vehicles.\n\nThe successful post holder will lead the development and delivery of vehicle and data strategies, particularly in areas including connected service definition and architecture.\n\nKey Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\n * Leading significant capital funded programmes. Managing and delivering programmes of activity internally and managing the provision of grant funding to external bodies for the development of connected and data services.\n\n * Managing programmes of research and specifying, procuring and managing the work of external consultancies and agencies.
