Head of Project Development (Utility Scale Renewable Energy)

Job Description A dynamic and growing renewable energy developer is looking for a Head of Project development to lead their Project Development team and grow their pipeline of awarded utility-scale projects while managing and executing on existing awards to make projects construction readyMinimum Requirements:•BSc degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, Environmental or Finance (MSc would be an advantage)•More than 5 years’ experience in large scale electricity project development and management•Experience in previous REIPPP projects and bidding•Experienced a financial close process with senior lenders•Technical or financial background with a firm grip on numbers and spreadsheets•Experience of South Africa regulations pertaining to electricity generation and project development
