Job Description:
The Head of Operations Engineering is a vital leadership position based in our clients beverage manufacturing facility. The role is designed to ensure seamless engineering operations throughout the organization, fostering a collaborative environment, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and oversee engineering operations in collaboration with Maintenance, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), Process, Controls, and Reliability Engineering teams.
- Cultivate a culture of teamwork and open communication across departments to drive successful project outcomes.
Project Management:
- Manage plant renovations, improvement projects, and facility expansions.
- Ensure projects are executed efficiently, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Strategize for minimal disruption to production and downtime schedules.
Operational Efficiency:
- Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of processes and systems to enhance operational efficacy.
- Ensure resource allocation is optimized for cost-effective solutions aligned with business objectives.
Problem Solving & Decision Making:
- Address complex challenges to maintain strong system performance.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to enhance problem-solving and decision-making processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement to boost overall plant performance and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence in engineering practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree .
- Extensive leadership experience in an engineering operations role, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in problem-solving and implementing process improvements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
