Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for a senior executive to lead global project development, investment, and strategic growth in a business driving the energy transition and scaling from early-stage development to commercial operations.

The company is in a high-growth phase, transforming global energy markets while delivering large-scale projects with measurable environmental impact.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the global strategy for solar and renewable project development and investment.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery: site origination, permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Drive investment decisions, M&A, and joint ventures to expand the portfolio globally.
• Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing international teams.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with governments, utilities, corporates, and technology providers.
• Ensure projects meet technical, commercial, and regulatory standards across diverse markets. Represent the company at industry conferences, investor meetings, and regulatory forums.

Background & Experience

• 10–15+ years in solar or renewable project development and investment, with a global footprint.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale solar or hybrid renewable projects.
• Deep financial expertise in project finance, M&A, JV structuring, and capital deployment.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy markets, emerging technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree .
• Willingness to travel internationally; multilingual abilities advantageous.
