Head of Sustainability Engineering- Building Services

London (Hybrid) | Growing Green Energy Consultancy

Are you a hands-on Mechanical biased Building Services Engineer with leadership experience?

Want to shape technical direction and lead impactful decarbonisation projects for the built environment?

We’re working with a fast-growing sustainability consultancy helping major commercial property owners decarbonise their portfolios — from strategy to design and delivery.

They’re now looking for a Head of Engineering to:

✅ Lead a team of engineers

✅ Oversee mechanical & electrical design delivery

✅ Develop bespoke decarbonisation strategies

✅ Drive building performance upgrades using IESVE & AutoCAD

✅ Manage client relationships, project resourcing, and commercial proposals

✅ Share P&L responsibility with the MD

What They're Looking For:

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or similar
• Strong background in building services and retrofit strategies
• Experience undertaking M&E Building Services Designs
• Skilled in IESVE, AutoCAD, EPCs, and energy audits (training provided where needed)
• Leadership experience within a consultancy setting
• Confident engaging clients at a Senior Management & Executive Level
