The Job Summary:

To lead and manage the Electrical, Electronics and Software Engineering function, ensuring the delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions across product development, systems integration, and engineering operations. The role will drive strategic direction, technical excellence, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The Role:

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of electrical, control systems, and software engineers.
• Oversee the design, development, and integration of electrical systems, embedded electronics, and software platforms.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for engineering projects.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Product Management, Operations) to align engineering outputs with business goals.
• Ensure design processes in both teams are of suitable standard for todays applications
• Ensure proper control and release of all SW versions internally & externally
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices and technologies.
• Represent the engineering function in senior leadership meetings and external engagements.

The Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field Chartered Engineer status or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years in electrical/electronic/software engineering
• Proven leadership in multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in embedded systems and software development
• Expertise in electrical systems, embedded electronics, and software architecture
• Strong understanding of safety-critical systems
• Project and budget management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
