Head of CRB Business Operations, Netherlands

As the Head of CRB Business Operations Netherlands, you will be responsible for the execution of the operational strategy and vision for Corporate Risk and Broking Netherlands and overseeing day-to-day operational activities.This role will define operational priorities which support the delivery of the profitable growth objectives for the business ensuring alignment with regional and Group strategy, delivery of operations and administrative support, provision of leadership and management to the service team, and ensuring that effective, efficient, proactive operational excellence is embedded.Strategy:  Support the CRB Country Head and Executive team in the delivery of the country strategic plans; Embrace the Willis Enterprise Delivery Organisation (WE DO) vision through connecting colleagues, teams, leaders and opportunities to help us better serve our clients, enable growth, simplify our technology and business processes, and drive continuous change. Growth: Support the development of business opportunities through the provision of excellent operational services; Enhance the reputation of the country as a centre of operational excellence both internally and externally; Deliver complete and accurate system data in order to benefit from accurate client data and revenue analysis. Financial: Actively seek to improve margins through promoting and achieving operational efficiency;  Ensure the team complies with the group’s revenue recognition policies.  Operations: Responsible for delivery of the team’s operational services in line with Global service standards;  Ensure the team is operating to Group, Global and/ or prescribed standardised policies, procedures and service standards; Ensure that processes, and roles and responsibilities are in line with the Global Taxonomy;  Ensure all relevant staff are appropriately trained on the relevant systems, procedures, and policies; Proactively manage all resources and processes to ensure efficiency and optimisation of resource capacity; Liaise with all relevant internal operational executives and groups who provide support on and accountability for operational efficiency, accuracy and excellence; Support and liaise with the cash collection function to facilitate the achievement of annual cash collection targets, and in any required liaison with relevant clients on credit control matters; Proactively manage the team’s metrics and KPIs; Ensure that any data or IT systems related strategy or work is channelled through the appropriate governance bodies to ensure robustness of process, controls, software, requirements and data integrity; Nurture and maintain a culture of continuous process improvement. First line of defence responsibility: Support the Head of CRB Business Operations for Western Europe (excl. France) in ensuring the team has appropriate resource, knowledge and controls to ensure an embedded first line of defence is in effect; Assist in the training of all relevant compliance policies and procedures, and ensure that the refresher training is provided or attended or completed on-line; Maintain a proactive relationship with the Compliance Officer, and with Group Compliance; Monitor Business Unit controls such as 2nd pair of eyes, excellence file reviews, control risks self-assessment forms etc and ensure these are proactively managed and maintained; Co-operate with Internal Audit, and exemplify a culture that is open to the value derived from reviewing work for control and efficiency improvement.
