Head of Chemical Laboratory (m/w/d)

Laboratory Supervisors are an essential part of laboratory operations and regulatory compliance. This individual will oversee the daily operations of the lab, supervise and direct staff, ensure policies/procedures are followed/adhered too, and play an integral role in the coordination, monitoring, maintenance and growth of the department.

Manage projects, workload assignments, and timely completion by group.

Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities of the laboratory.

Responsible for quality and compliance with applicable regulations.

Ensures adherence to SOPs, regulations, guidelines, practices, and policies.

Reviews quality controls of records, equipment and staff, and performs quality control assurance daily.

Assists with responding to incidents and writing SOPs.

Reviews maintenance and quality control records to comply with regulators, SOPs, and quality standards.

Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution required.

Licensed by New York State Education Department (NYSED) as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, .

Minimum of 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience .
