As a hardwood flooring Showroom assistant , you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the company.
Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to, creating estimates and sending to customers for approval, scheduling project timeline, communicating with customers, pricing and placing orders with vendors, assisting out-side project manager, receiving shipment (some heavy lifting required) greeting and providing flooring information to walk-in customers.
Key responsibilities:
-Write accurate and detailed estimates
-Schedule and coordinate projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution
-Liaison effectively between customers, project manger, vendors and labor employees
-Provide administrative support to office manger and project manager
-Place, receive and process shipments of hardwood flooring materials (some heavy lifting as needed)
-Greet and welcome walk-ins customer to showroom, providing accurate information and offering solutions to their needs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hardwood flooring industry or any construction services is but not required
- Quickbooks and G-Suit proficiency, knowledge of Social Media marketing and AI is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed
- Customer-focused mentality with friendly and professional demeanor
