Hardware Quality Engineer
Milwaukee, WI
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, or Field Service, with hands-on experience in New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Strong experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance (QA) tools and methodologies.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Associate Quality Engineer (AQE) are .
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Project/Product Quality Engineer, ensuring product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Program Management teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Read, interpret, and understand product documentation and evaluate product usage within customer applications.
- Develop and implement quality management strategies to improve product quality, reliability, and new product designs.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Management, to ensure consistent quality standards.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to provide visibility into product quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor field performance, lead investigations into product issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure sustained product quality and performance throughout the entire product lifecycle.
