Summary

• The Verification Engineer (Test Engineer I) design and executes verification activities of Imaging devices and systems, including the design and implementation of test infrastructure to assess image quality, as well as optical, mechanical, and electrical requirements.
• Responsibilities include creating and executing thorough verification procedures, documenting results in technical reports for engineering review. Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the job and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.
• 2 positions: 40 hours week Onsite contract 7 months
• Candidates can expect up to 2 interviews; first is 1:1 wth the HM, 30min, 2nd TBD
• Day-to-day activities of this role:
  * 70% hands-on testing, 30% documentation
  * Many tests are already planned & assigned; communicating w/ systems * engineering for modified or new requirements to be defined, tested & documented
  * Collaborating w/ team on execution/automation of test procedures, and the documentation of results;
  * Constant communication w/ test lab,
• Qualities of the ideal candidate:
  * Very technical person w/ excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  * Fast & skilled at programming;
  * Someone who thrives with structure;
  * Someone with a positive mindset and is good at building relationships
  * Any experience in medical or imaging instruments is a big plus
  * Open to experience in any highly regulated industry
