We are currently seeking an experienced Hardscape Construction Field Supervisor to join our Indiana Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing and managing an average of 6 union crews thru out the state of Indiana. Responsibilities include directing the building of the projects as well as assisting the office in the management of said projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The candidate will live in the Indianapolis surrounding area and will be required to travel thru out the state of Indiana to perform their duties. We are a traveling hardscape installation company. The Field Supervisor is not required to stay overnight out of town as the crews do.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Work Directly with our General Superintendent to help implement project goals.

-Working with our Clients / Contractor Superintendents .

· Coordinate with the office project manager and other team members to maintain project schedule and efficiency.

· Assist in reviewing data to determine material.

- Willing to learn the local union labor requirements. Hire and Terminate field employees.

· Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals.

· Control and manage project from start to finish.

· Use specific software such as Microsoft office, Planswift, Smartsheet to manage projects.

· Assists in site visits

· Coordinate and communicate with project team members, including contractors and suppliers

· Use Smartsheet to report job information on all Site visits

 

 

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as Hardscape superintendent

· Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution

· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong math skills and a solid working knowledge of the hardscape industry

· Class A CDL

· Ability to communicate written and verbal communication skills via phone , text and email.

· Solid organization skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

· Ability to work independently

· A strong fit with the company culture, demonstrated by being collaborative, self-motivated and hardworking

-Pass an annual drug test as well as being placed in the CDL Consortium for random drug testing.
