A talented maintenance technician who has experience. The right candidate will have excellent customer service skills and an outstanding attitude.

We can be flexible with schedule if need be. Weekdays .

On call if/when emergencies arise

Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician (including but not limited to):

*The ability to use and execute a preventative maintenance checklist and complete minor repair work orders such as replacing sheet rock, tiles, light bulbs, plumbing, landscaping, painting, sanding, caulking, etc to maintain the hotel.
*The ability to check electrical systems such as air conditioning PTAC units, television sets, lighting systems and makes minor repairs and/ or replacement.
*Experience with making minor repairs to general plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipe lines, toilets and sinks, kitchen and laundry equipment.
*Refurbishing furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, shower rods, chairs, doors, and windows. Paints and finishes furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, if needed.
*Ability to maintain all areas of the hotel to prevent larger maintenance issues, for example roof, gutters, elevator, washers/dryers, PTAC units, spa pump and filter, etc.
*Timely response to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
*Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
*Follows company policies and procedures.
*Clean common areas

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Any experience in building operations or hotel maintenance a plus.
Must have hands on experience, range of hand tools, and electrical operations experience for safety reasons.
Clean criminal record
