To support this scale, we are delivering a significant transformation through our Making Business Easier (MBE) programme, and this role is a key part of making that change land successfully.\n \nRole Purpose\nTo lead the development, governance and continuous improvement of Group Technical systems, data, and processes across all sites.
The role ensures robust, standardised and compliant technical systems that support operational excellence, audit readiness, and evolving legislative and customer requirements.\n \nKey Accountabilities\n \nSite & Group Technical Support\n\nSite support as requested (remote and on site), prioritised via Heads of Technical and Group Technical\nAct as escalation point for systems and process challenges\nEnsure consistent application of policies, systems and standardsTechnical Systems Design & Implementation\n\nLead design, implementation and rollout of Group Technical systems (liaising with IT)\nEnsure systems are standardised and scalable\nSupport testing and continuous improvementGroup Data Collection & Governance\n\nOwn collection, collation and reporting of Group technical data (e.g. EPR, sustainability)\nImprove data capture and reporting processes\nEnsure accuracy and consistencyTraining & Capability Development\n\nDesign and deliver training for technical systems\nBuild capability across sites\nCoach and support teamsGroup Technical Projects\n\nLead or support Group Technical projects\nDeliver against agreed plansTechnical Governance & Stakeholder Engagement\n\nAttend Group and Category Technical meetings\nBuild cross-functional relationships\nInfluence adoption of best practiceLegislation & Customer Requirements\n\nSupport implementation of new legislation and customer requirements\nTranslate into practical system solutionsKnowledge, Skills and Experience\n\nDegree qualified or equivalent experience\nUnderstanding of technical KPIs and continuous improvement\nExperience of systems implementation and data management\nInternal audit and compliance knowledge\nRoot cause analysis capability\nStrong IT/system capability\nFood safety qualifications (HACCP, Hygiene, TACCP)\nAllergen management knowledge\nCoaching and influencing skills\nStrong communication and presentation skillsWhat you'll get in return\n\nCompetitive salary and job-related benefits\n\nCompetitive matched pension contributions\n\nLife insurance up to 4x salary\n\nCompany share save scheme\n\nGreencore Qualifications\n\nExclusive Greencore employee discount platform\n\nAccess to a full Wellbeing Centre platform\n\nEnhanced parental leave and menopause policies\nThroughout your time at Greencore, you will be supported with on the job training and development opportunities to further your career.\n \nColleagues in central/support functions whose roles are at risk of redundancy and who accept a new role can continue working from their current location, in accordance with our location guidance, where feasible.
