Join Our Accounting Firm as a Full-Time Administrative & Grant Writing Specialist (Hybrid – Frederick, MD)

Are you a skilled professional with grant writing experience, strong administrative abilities, and a solid understanding of accounting-related services? We’re a accounting firm seeking a dependable and detail-oriented team member to join us in a hybrid role based at our Frederick, MD office.

Position: Full-Time Administrative & Grant Writing Specialist
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST
Location: Hybrid – Must be able to work in-person at our Frederick office part of the week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and support grant proposals, budgets, and related documentation for clients

  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, managing office communications, and handling mail

  • Assist with business entity setups, EIN applications, and state registrations

  • Support client onboarding and transitions, coordinating deliverables across departments

  • Contribute to various accounting-related tasks, including light bookkeeping or document organization

Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Experience in grant writing (nonprofit or government grant experience )

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills

  • Familiarity with business compliance filings and/or accounting processes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Comfortable with both in-office and remote work as needed
