DescriptionJob Title: Graduate Maritime Services Systems EngineerLocation: Cowes (Isle of Wight)We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome BonusWhat you’ll be doing:• Learning and applying Systems Engineering principles to support the design of systems throughout the engineering lifecycle.• Discerning and decomposing requirements to system and sub-system level, learning requirements management techniques.• Undertaking system design, using Model Based Systems Engineering techniques, to subsystem level using toolsets such as CATIA Magic or Enterprise Architect.• Undertaking modelling and simulation of system elements using toolsets such as MATLAB/Simulink/Python.• Assisting with definition and execution of system integration and testing.• Supporting senior engineers in the definition of Verification and Validation acceptance strategies.• Assisting with technical reviews of engineering technical documentation and design.Benefits:As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing & lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.About Radar:BAE Systems provides Radar products and support services to a diverse range of customers worldwide, including the Royal Navy.
