Job DescriptionAbout The Role
Role Summary:
As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK. You'll gain hands-on experience in project planning, design, and execution, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This role offers a pathway to Chartered Engineer status and long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) and civils projects.
- Support the development of technical documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Contribute to site inspections, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Participate in design reviews and help ensure engineering solutions meet client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for senior engineers and project managers.
About You
Essential Criteria
- BEng or MEng in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CAD tools.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Criteria
- Interest in sustainability and innovation in infrastructure
- Some travel required across Coffey sites
- Some understanding of construction industry
