Job Description

Graduate Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: £27,000–£31,000 per annum

Location: Chester

Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Chester, is seeking a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to begin their career within a well-established and forward-thinking production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are maintained.
• Assist with process improvement projects to drive productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to resolve engineering challenges.
• Contribute to the implementation of new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce technical documentation, process instructions, and reports as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Enthusiasm for developing a long-term career in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or CAD software would be advantageous but not essential.
