Graduate Fire Engineer job for a growing fire engineering consultancy based in Sunderland. The role offers a salary of £38,000 - £42,000 + 4.5-day week + private healthcare + professional development!

Role & Responsibilities



Support fire engineering projects from initial concept through to completion

Assist in producing fire safety strategies and technical reports

Learn to apply UK fire safety legislation and guidance to real projects

Shadow senior engineers on site visits and inspections

Contribute to a collaborative and friendly team culture, providing input where appropriate

Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality fire engineering solutions across a range of UK projects.



Required Skills & Experience



Degree qualified in Fire Engineering (BEng/BSc/MSc)

Enthusiasm to develop a career in fire safety engineering

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative office-based team environment

UK driving licence but not essential

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available for this position.

4.5-day working week (Friday afternoons off)
