A day in the life
Whether you choose 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm) or 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10:00 pm–6:30 am), you’ll step into a clean, GMP-driven operation where precision and safety guide every move.
You’ll begin your shift by reviewing worksheets and confirming blend instructions. With care and accuracy, you’ll blend liquid chemicals, draw samples of incoming materials and finished compounds, and document your work according to SOPs. Throughout the shift, you’ll clean and inspect blenders and reactors, prepare and fill drums and totes, and safely load or unload tank trucks and railcars. You’ll operate production equipment as directed by your supervisor, attend required trainings, and complete all paperwork neatly and on time before handing off to the next team.
Your core impact
- Manufacture, blend, and package liquid chemicals in a GMP environment.
- Inspect, clean, and fill drums and totes.
- Load and unload tank trucks and railcars safely.
- Draw samples of incoming materials and finished blends/compounds.
- Clean and inspect blenders and reactors.
- Review worksheets carefully and follow documented procedures.
- Operate machinery as directed by the supervisor.
- Attend all mandatory training.
- Complete all paperwork accurately and according to SOP by the end of each shift.
Reporting structure
This position reports to the Production Supervisor.
What helps you succeed
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Prior chemical blending experience recommended.
Schedule and incentives
- 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm
- 3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 pm–6:30 am
- Up to $1.50/hr shift premium
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
