Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join a transportation and logistics company as a Global Logistics and Compliance Manager.
As the Global Logistics and Compliance Manager you will be responsible for filing all import and export shipments as well as compliance of those shipments. You will also handle day-to-day duties related to air, ocean, and port drayage shipments. This role also manages compliance activities related to international traffic and coordinates activities of import-export traffic to ensure all required legal documents, filings, and reports are completed.
Note: This position is located in Duluth, GA, and requires working in the office. A background check AND drug screen will be conducted in accordance with federal and local requirements.

Responsibilities
- Assist team with filing AES, AMS, ISF and other filings to ensure compliance of ocean & air shipments.
- Assist team with FTZ filings, regulations, etc. as needed to ensure compliance.
- Review & approve all International Invoicing to ensure all revenue is booked timely and accurately.
- Audit bond spreadsheet to ensure everything is closed out properly and within appropriate timeframe to avoid going to “general order”.
- Audit CFS log to ensure that all shipments that go through our CFS are in compliance and are back out within 15 days of arrival.
- Ensure all International vendor contracts are valid, current, have correct pricing and have been signed by the President as needed.
- Assist with onboarding new clients to ensure seamless operations and compliance with all necessary paperwork.
- Serves as a backup to maintain OTI & NVOCC licenses
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Import & Export experience (air and ocean )
- 3 years of OTI/NVOCC work as required for licenses
- 5-10 years of office experience
- FTZ knowledge a plus
- High level MS Office proficiency
- High School Diploma or GED
