THE ROLE As our Global Fleet Manager, you will play a critical role supporting the company’s mission by ensuring efficiency targets with regards to Indie Campers Global fleet are met. You will report to the Director of Fleet & Logistics of Indie Campers. Position is based in Indie Campers HQ in Lisbon, however it may involve travel to visit key suppliers and our operational depots. We are looking for an experienced professional who is inspired by Indie Campers mission of democratising road trips, enabling the freedom of movement and connecting travelers worldwide. You will be leading a team that is responsible for designing and implementing fleet management strategies with the ultimate goal of ensuring customer satisfaction and maximising vehicle availability in an efficient way. You will be responsible for Key Performance Indicators with regards to maintenance and repair costs, transportation costs, fleet availability and customer feedback on vehicle conditions.  WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON? As a manager, you will lead, coach and support the Fleet team, being the ultimate responsible for fleet condition, availability and maintenance/repair costs; Design and implement the Fleet management strategy. Improve and implement internal policies and procedures; Manage all fleet maintenance and repairs in what regards to scheduled maintenance, collision, accidents, renovations, among others; Identify, negotiate and manage the relationship with suppliers, manufacturers and retailers all over Europe; Maximise partnerships in vehicle handling in order to achieve fast and cost efficient relocation solutions all across Europe; Keep a close control on the fleet insurance policies of all vehicles and manage the key communications with insurance companies; Coordinate with local teams to make sure vehicles are delivered on time and in the best condition; Liaise with the Fleet Purchase and RV Sales teams in order to guarantee smooth in-fleet and de-fleet processes; Assure together with Stocks Team the quality, quantity, stock levels, transport costs and efficiency; Maintain and develop metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Degree in Engineering, Business or similar (mandatory); Experience in fleet management (mandatory); Fleet management position at a Rent-a-car or Vehicle leasing company (desirable); Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff (mandatory); Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects (mandatory); English proficiency (mandatory); International experience will be a plus; Good negotiation skills; Excellent analytical and organisational skills; Effective communicator in stressful situations.
