Job Description
Position Purpose:
Internships at Veolia: Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function from Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- The GIS will be responsible for assisting in the development, operation, and maintenance of GIS for New Jersey.
- They will shadow the GIS team in learning the processes of the organization as they relate to GIS data collection, maintenance, and updating GIS with information found in as-builts, old records, or the workforce management system.
- Additionally, this position will assist the GIS team with creation of other GIS layers and mapping products as needed including publishing web maps and apps for field use, updating StoryMaps, and supporting the field staff with mobile apps such as Field Maps.
Work Environment:
- Environments vary by internship function from office to field to plant.

Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- In pursuit of a college degree.
- Relevant areas of study include: Geographical Information Systems, Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Familiarity with ESRI Product Suite.
Additional Information
Pay Range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.
